Around 50 residents attended a community forum on Wednesday night in St. Boniface. The City of Winnipeg organized it to find out how the community felt about the proposed outcomes for Saint-Boniface Civic Square.

Residents discussed different scenarios outlined in a city survey. One scenario involved the possible sale of the Saint-Boniface City Hall and the adjacent fire hall. Another, was for the city to keep ownership of the property. It would then establish long-term lease agreements with Saint-Boniface community groups.
